Paneerselvam is now directing ‘Renigunta’ in which producer S.S. Chakravathi’s son Johnny is introduced as hero. The director is intending to convey message about the street boys in the metro cities like Chennai and Mumbai. Paneerselvam want to show how these adolescents are misled into mafia-world and turn into slayers for just 2000 and 3000 bucks. The film will highlight how these teenagers miss their schooling and are pushed into these bloodcurdling offences.

“I have showed how a small amount of love, warmth and affection can transform the life on these poor souls. I have made the screenplay at a good rate of speed. We have completed the talky portion of the film”, said the director.

“Director Lingusamy saw the rush scenes of the film and wanted me to direct my next venture under his home banner. However, time in early I was offered to direct the next film also for producer S.S.Chakravarthy, retaining the producer’s son Johnny as the hero,” added the delighted director.

Birdies had it that the producer also went a step ahead and gave 5 lakhs as an advance to the director…

What a demand for the director even before the film is released? So some good stuff must be there, uh?
